Kate trained at a classical drawing school in Italy studying the manner of the Renaissance Masters. Following her first year she gained a scholarship enabling her to continue her studies and assist in teaching fellow students.

Returning to London she combined her love of art with working for a leading Hotel design Company, Hirsch Bedner Associates. This synergy has helped both to inform and challenge her work leading to a variety of commissions from a mural of the Battle of Waterloo, to corporate commisssions and portrait commissions

Kate is now based in Hampshire still combining the disciplines of art and interior design.
